AUREA-X · EARLY-ACCESS PAGE · LAST UPDATED OCTOBER 31, 2026

AUREA-X is being formed by a small founding team. This page explains, in plain English, what happens with your information on the AUREA-X website.

What we collect

Only when you choose to reserve a passage, we collect what you type into the Passenger Details form:

We do not ask for a passport number, government ID, date of birth or nationality.

Why we collect it

Only to manage AUREA-X early-access communication and invitations: to send travel updates, to invite you into the first digital passages, and to understand who is interested in the project. We do not sell your information and we do not share it for advertising.

Your answers to the three border questions

The three Border Questions on the page, and your Entry Request, are kept only in your own browser (local storage) so the experience can remember you. They are not sent to us and they are not uploaded anywhere. You can remove them at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser.

Where the form data goes

Passenger Details are received through Netlify Forms, the form service of our hosting provider Netlify, and may be forwarded to the founders’ email. Netlify processes this data on our behalf under its own privacy terms.

Voice answers

If your browser supports speech recognition and you press SPEAK, the browser — not AUREA-X — records and transcribes your voice. Depending on your browser, the audio may be processed by the browser vendor’s speech service. AUREA-X receives only the text you choose to submit. You can always type instead.

Sound, cookies and tracking

The ambient sound is generated in your browser. This page does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics. It stores a small amount of data in your browser’s local storage (for example your first name, your sound preference and how far you have travelled through the page) so the journey can continue where you left it.

How long we keep it

We keep early-access registrations until the early-access programme ends, or until you ask us to delete them — whichever comes first.

Your choices and deletion

You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete your information, or to stop sending you updates, by writing to the contact address published on the AUREA-X website. We will act on a deletion request within a reasonable time.

Legal basis and your consent

We process the information above on the basis of your consent, which you give by ticking the consent boxes on the form. You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to the contact address; withdrawal does not affect processing done before it.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

We collect the categories of personal information listed above (identifiers such as name and email, location at country level, and the optional answers you write) for the purposes described. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. California residents may request to know, access, correct or delete their personal information, and we will not discriminate against anyone for making a request.

People in the EU, EEA and UK (GDPR)

You have the right to access, correct, delete and receive a copy of your data, to restrict or object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. Your information is processed in the United States by us and by Netlify, which provides hosting and form handling; where required, transfers rely on the safeguards described in Netlify’s own privacy policy.

Age

AUREA-X is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change how we use your information we will update this page and, where appropriate, tell the people on the early-access list.
